How to Get Involved: Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs have 3 options to promote themselves to the industry and to potential investors:
Come as an attendee
This way you will be able to listen to, identify and meet with the leading investors in the travel industry and learn from the gurus what investors are looking for when they do invest.
Apply to pitch
Pitch directly to the biggest investors in travel. You will need to apply to do this. Send an email detailing your business idea, you plans for growth, your basic financials and the management team behind the idea. Pitchers will be picked on the following basis:
- The idea
- The investment potential
- The people behind the ideal
Last year over 40 entrepreneurs applied but we could only host 20.
If your application is successful this is free to do. (All chosen pitchers will have access to networking parties on the 20th but you will only be able to access the events on the 21st if you are chosen to be in the final)
Apply to pitch, take a stand, and attend the whole of the Travel Distribution Summit
The Travel Distribution Summit is the world's biggest meeting place for the online travel trade. Last year over 1500 attendees representing the biggest travel suppliers, intermediaries and entrepreneurs in the online travel space attended. Take a table top stand in the area outside the Get Funding forum and promote your stand to the gurus the investor attendees and the industry.
